Layups for Chrome.

The Chrome extension puts your agents in a side panel next to every tab. They can see the page you're on and — with your approval — act on it: fill forms, click through flows, and finish the busywork with you.

Download for Chrome

While the Chrome Web Store listing is on its way, the extension installs in developer mode — six quick steps, no technical background needed. To update later, download the fresh zip and repeat; your sign-in sticks.

Install in six steps

01

Download the extension

Grab the zip with the button above. It lands in your Downloads folder.

02

Unzip it

Double-click the downloaded file. You get a folder — keep it somewhere it can stay; Chrome loads the extension from that folder.

03

Open Chrome's extensions page

Type chrome://extensions into the address bar and press Enter.

chrome://extensions

04

Turn on Developer mode

Use the toggle in the top-right corner of the extensions page.

05

Load the folder

Click “Load unpacked” (top left) and select the folder you unzipped in step 2.

06

Pin it and sign in

Click the puzzle icon in Chrome's toolbar, pin Layups, then click the Layups icon to open the side panel and sign in.

What's new

Getting better every week.

Autopilot and keyboard control

  • Autopilot: the agent can chain page actions — it acts, checks the result, and keeps going until the job is done.
  • A stop button halts the agent mid-task whenever you want.
  • The agent can now double-click, press keys, and type into complex widgets — spreadsheet-style grids included.
  • Starting a fresh conversation is one tap from the panel.

Page actions, screenshots, and a fresh look

  • The agent can act on the page — click buttons, fill fields, and step through flows — with every action visible as it happens.
  • Ask where something is and the agent scrolls to it and spotlights it.
  • The agent can take a screenshot of the page to see exactly what you see.
  • Right-click any selected text to ask your agent about it.
  • A refreshed look that matches the rest of Layups.

The first release

  • Sign in with Layups, pick an agent, and chat in a side panel next to every tab.
  • Attach page context so the agent can read the page you're on.
  • Form fills are proposed by the agent and applied only when you approve them.
